Mona Brandt has been the Event Director of the Arizona Dance Classic since 2003. She has also been involved with the United Country Western Dance Council (UCWDC) as s Secretary, Marketing Committee Chair, and Business Team Chair. Mona is a full-time Dance Professional in the Phoenix area, where she teaches social dance, coaches teams and competitive dancers, competes with her students in pro-am, and travels around the world, teaching, judging competitions and coaching. Mona has been dancing for most of her life, beginning with Ballet, Tap and Jazz as a child, and going on to teach, Ballet, Tap and Jazz to children and adults. Mona then became interested in Ballroom and Country dancing and moved on to teaching and competing in these types of dance as well. Mona is a 6-TIme UCWDC Country Dance World Champion, with 4 titles in Couples and 2 in Line. Mona is the first ever UCWDC competitor to achieve both Master status in Couples and Superstar Status in Line.
Anita has been teaching dance since 1996, and has been actively involved with the UCWDC since 2002. She has danced competitively on teams, in Pro-Pro and in line dance competition in the UCWDC circuit. She has several students who have won Pro-Am World Championships and National Championships. In 2010 Anita won the Female Diamond Line Dance Showcase Division at Worlds, and went on to compete in the Line Dance Crown division. Outside of dancing, Anita works as a Trust Administrator and is passionate about animal rescue/adoption. Anita is very excited about continuing her dance journey as a part of the organization in her new role as Co-director of the Arizona Dance Classic.
